Description

Nya Skolan is looking for you who are a trained preschool assistant with a few years of experience, and who loves working with children aged 1-5 years.

As a preschool assistant at Nya Skolan's preschools, you have unique opportunities to influence and contribute to children's development and learning. We are looking for a preschool assistant for a parental leave position from April 20, 2026, to December 1, 2026. The position is 100% and located at Nya Skolan Egna Hem.

The Educators

Our educators work in teams where they have a shared responsibility for all the children in the team. The strength of the team lies in the various competencies of all employees, where everyone contributes their knowledge to facilitate children's learning and development.

Pedagogically, we work with wholes. We want to teach children to see connections and to develop conscious and reflective thinking as they grow older.

Responsibilities

As a preschool assistant, you contribute to creating a positive and developing environment for each child and for the entire group by being part of the pedagogical development work, according to the preschool's operational goals.

You will work together with other educators to develop, drive, and implement the preschool's mission based on our governing documents, and with our vision in sight, be involved in planning and evaluating the work. Our teachers work in teams, share responsibility, and help each other.

Our groups are flexible and adapted to the pedagogical needs and interests and maturity of the children. Together we create an atmosphere where knowledge is fun and learning is an exciting adventure!

Qualifications

We see that you are an open person who is calm and secure in yourself and where collaboration is seen as a given since we work in teams.

Conditions

Scope: full-time 100%

Duration: Temporary position 6-9 months

Employment form: fixed-term employment. Recruitment is ongoing. Presentation of a criminal record extract is mandatory.
